Replace or Repair taps

Labour cost to replace or repair, Bath, Basin, or Kitchen taps, £95.00

Parts range from £5-£40 New taps range from £19-£199, We will show you a selection of taps from Srewfix that you can choose from before you book us.

Toilet repairs

£95.00

Labour cost to replace or repair, faulty toilet flush valves, inlet vales, £95.00

We replace or repair Toilet flushes, dripping water, running water, failure to fill, leaks, lose toilets, toilet seats, flush handles, The cost of the parts is extra, parts range from £15-£65 We will explain what part you need at the visit, we carry most parts on the van so we can repair there and then.

Showers

There is several different types of showers, Power shower (pump) Electric shower, Mixer shower, We can only replace not repair power shower pumps, electric shower, mixer showers, The cost of these vary from £49-£450 in the most expensive category (Aqualiser) We ask for a photo at time of booking so we give you a exact quote.

Outside Taps

Labour cost to replace faulty outside taps £95.00 Costs for a new installation approx. £190 Parts cost around £15 for the replacement tap and £45 (inc in the £190) for new installations

Leak repairs

£95.00

If you book a day in advance we can repair a drip or leak for £95,

If you book as an emergency the cost is £195 for us to arrive in under 60 mins, Parts will be extra, however the part could be a just a few pounds, we will always explain in detail as the job goes on.

Loft tank ball vales

£95.00

Faulty ball filling valves can cause all types of issues including the tank overflowing, this can be seen by the water coming out of the overflow pipe up under your guttering. Ball valves cost around £15, the labour is £95, we sometimes add a service valve for safety to the water inlet feed supplying the loft tank, this is £2.50 extra and will ensure the supply can be turned off without going to the mains stopcock.

Heating

Heating not working can be caused by several issues, thermostats, wiring, fuses, zone valves, blocked pipes, faulty boilers.. the list goes on, Your need a good technician to diagnose the issue in quick time to save you time and money, we charge £110.00 per hour, 90% of cases we find the fault in one hour, then the cost and time of the repair will be quoted there and then, a zone valve for example costs around £80-£140 and one hour to fit.

Boilers

As with heating, a boiler not working can be several things, If the boiler is over 10 years old its likely to be coming to the end of use, However all is not doom and gloom, we can repair a lot of boiler issues fast a cheap, and in lots of cases the boiler is not even the fault! its something to do with the elements sending signals to the boiler. no fix no fee, so if we can't fix it we only charge a diagnosis fee of £80 which comes off the cost of the future repair (delayted to oror new boiler.

Hot water cylinder immersion heaters

£110.00

Water not heating up, The immersion element costs £35-£80 depending on brand, In 80% of cases we can change just the immersion, however sometimes if the cylinder is very old we may not be able to unscrew the immersion without damaging the neck of the cylinder, if this happens a new cylinder will be needed at a cost of approx £650-£850, Good news, Sometimes the element is ok and the thermostat is the issue, this costs around £30 its a simpler job that does not put the cylinder at risk.

Emergency call outs

We are 60 mins away 24/7 365, We arrive in under the hour, carry most parts on the van so can repair issues even after the merchants have closed!

Plumbing emergency

Free quotes, new boilers supplied and fitted range from £1300, Its best you get a fixed quote by us, and a visit is always needed, some companies do online quotes (cheaper) this is not professional, and we don't offer this service. We only offer a quote in person, we need to check lots of things that can't be done on-line! like gas supply, size of pipes, location of flue, condensing pipe, lime pit etc, We don't charge to come and visit, so why not give us a try.
